Thank you for booking private rugby coaching with us.

You will now receive a confirmation email from info@therugbycoach.co.ukPlease read the confirmation email and follow the instructions to make payment. Payment must be made via BACS in advance of the first training session. Your booking will be confirmed once we have received your payment via BACS.  

Please read the information below to ensure that you are well prepared for the private rugby sessions.

What do you need to bring/prepare?

  • Bring a personal drinks bottle to keep you hydrated (ideally water).

  • Wear boots & trainers (to suit the variable terrain).

  • Wear a mouthguard during contact rugby activities.

  • Wear suitable sports clothing for outdoor sessions including a rain jacket for wet weather (no jeans).

  • Bring a personal towel to wipe sweat.

  • Bring medication for any personal medical needs e.g. asthma pump, allergy tablets & epi-pen etc.

  • We recommend that you eat sufficient food 2+ hours before your training to ensure that you have enough energy to perform (ideally complex carbohydrates). We advise not to eat snacks during the session. Please do not bring any food that may contain nuts as some players/coaches may have severe allergies.

  • We advise that the player wears a face mask for drop off/pick up (and any family members spectating).  

 

More information about our Private Rugby Coaching

  • ​Our training sessions run for 1 hour. Please arrive 5 minutes early at the start and warm up whilst you're waiting.

  • Players should arrive ready changed for the session (no changing facilities).

  • Players must abide by our code of conduct to ensure a positive coaching environment.

  • Players are to take full responsibility for their own valuables. We do not accept any responsibility for lost or damaged valuables.

  • We may take photos and videos during the training sessions which may be shared online including social media. Consent or non-consent for your child "to be included in photos and videos during training sessions, which may be used for promotion and/or advertising" is included in our online booking form. We will abide by your decision regarding photo and video consent.

  • Parental consent must be provided in the booking form allowing the player to travel home independently at the end of a session.

  • Parents and family may observe the training sessions but must stay socially distanced at all times.

 

COVID-19

  • All players & coaches must abide by our Health & Safety Policy (COVID-19).

  • Hand sanitiser will be provided for players during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • We advise that you wear a face mask to wear for drop off/pick up.

  • If the player has symptoms of COVID-19 then please do not attend our sessions, until they have received a negative test result or have self isolated for the recommended time period. 

  • If the player or a family member receives a positive test result, please do not attend our sessions and contact us immediately, so we can alert anyone else who may be directly affected.

***All players & coaches must abide by our Health & Safety Policy (COVID-19). Hand sanitiser will be provided for all players during the COVID-19 pandemic***
