30 Day Rugby Challenge (children)

Updated: Jun 5, 2020

We've created a free 30 day rugby challenge for your child (U6 to U12) to complete at home. The aim of this challenge is to keep children engaged and excited about rugby during lockdown, leading to a boost in self-esteem on completion. All of the activities are designed for players aged 5 to 11 (girls and boys) and require minimal equipment making them accessible for all.

The 30 daily activities are categorised into rugby skills, communication, fitness, arts & craft and leisure. Every daily activity is rugby related whilst developing additional life skills including creativity, resilience, decision making, teamwork, respect, discipline, sportsmanship and enjoyment.

To complete the 30 day rugby challenge, simply download the wall chart (below) providing the daily activities and equipment required (all household items). Once the daily activity has been completed, tick the activity as ‘completed’ on the wall chart. Why not print out the wall chart and stick it on the fridge as a daily reminder? Stickers and gold stars can be used as further motivation to complete the challenge.

We hope that your child enjoys completing the 30 day rugby challenge and that they continue to be excited about rugby. Please take photos and videos of your child completing the challenge and tag us on social media so we can see their progress.
